Nose Aesthetics
Nose aesthetics is a procedure that people apply for visual and health purposes. Its name in the field of medicine is rhinoplasty. In rhinoplasty, it is aimed to improve the aesthetics of the nasal bone by correcting the slippage that occurs as a result of congenital or an impact. Nose aesthetics may be decided by problems such as arched or long nose, low nasal tip, large nostrils, and asymmetric nose.
At what age can the nose aesthetics be performed?
Nose aesthetics, rather than age, depends on the formation of bones. If a person’s muscle and bone structure is not fully developed, it is not appropriate to do nose aesthetics. Generally, the bone structure of the individuals completes their development between the ages of 18-20.
Is There a Difference Between Female and Male Nose Aesthetics?
There are some aesthetic differences in female and male nose structure. For example, while the angle of the nose to the lip is 90 degrees in men, this angle should be slightly higher in women, ie the female nose should be slightly raised than the male nose. There is no difference between the surgical procedures performed. In addition, the tip and width of the nose may be more pronounced in men.
How is Nose Aesthetics Performed?
Nose aesthetics can be performed in two ways as open and closed surgery.
Open Rhinoplasty: The procedures applied on cartilage and bones are almost identical to closed rhinoplasty. Unlike open rhinoplasty, a small incision is made between the nostrils to increase surgical viewing angle. This method is preferred especially in people who have advanced deformity and have undergone previous aesthetic surgery called secondary surgery. The advantage is the wide viewing angle and the disadvantage is that the recovery process is long.
Closed Rhinoplasty: In this method, incisions are made through the nostril. Although the procedure on bones is the same as open rhinoplasty, the angle of view is very low. However, it can be preferred because the suture mark is in the nose and the healing process is partially faster.
Is Nose Aesthetics performed without surgery?
There are some methods of making the nose partially aesthetic without surgery. These can be listed as nasal tip botox, nasal filling and nasal lifting with rope. The disadvantage of non-surgical aesthetic applications is that their effects do not continue for a long time.
